Nathan Dwyer is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) who has been investigating fires and explosions since 2003. He graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Nathan is the owner of Fire Findings, a uniquely combined training facility and independent forensic laboratory geared to the analysis and testing of fire, explosion and water-related events. Fire Findings specializes in investigations involving appliance failures and fires, as well as gas and electrical systems.
In addition to investigating, he is actively involved in instructing at Fire Findings’ inhouse seminars, for the Michigan State Police, and for other IAAI and forensic-related organizations. Mr. Dwyer has testified as an origin and cause and forensic engineering consultant in depositions and trials.
